Mission statement: provide a way to connect FIRST Robotics teams across the world to promote STEM and grow FIRST

Our Mission

Robots Without Borders (RWB) is a program started by a Minnesota native FRC FIRST Robotics team, Team 2220 Blue Twilight, with the idea of promoting STEM and connecting teams across the globe. While rather new, the FIRST community is already curious about the program and is being implemented throughout other local teams. Through the program, teams from all over the world can work with their team's sponsors and the RWB program to establish a connection with another team. From there, the individual teams decide what outreach they will do; advice and ideas on further outreach can also be found through the RWB program. Events and outreach programs will be documented and shared to be used as a tool to guide other trips and outreach projects.

“I think an education is not only important, it is the most important thing you can do with your life.”

— Dean Kamen, founder of first robotics

Get Involved

Robots Without Borders is looking for other FRC FIRST Robotics teams and their sponsors to be a part of the program. Involved teams have the chance to grow their outreach, learn from other teams, become educated in different cultures, travel nationally and/or internationally, and more. Involved sponsors have the opportunity to provide guidance for Robotics students whether it be through advice, mentorship, connections between companies and countries, specific funding, and plenty more.
